Gate valve S43

Technical description

• Gate valve S43 is designed with a monolithic body, inside which the pressure seal bonnet is located. 
• The body, wedge and most leading parts are made from forgings and rolled material.
• The seats the body, the wedge (disc) and back seat are welded with wear-resistant, hard alloy material (type Stellite 6). 
• The wedge is made of material corresponding to the steel body.
• The stem is made of special high temperature resistant steel.
• The connection of gate valve S43 is according to EN, DIN, ANSI (ASME), GOST implemented by:  
  - butt weld type „BW”;
  - flanged ends.
• The control of the welded joints is performed by ultrasonic or X-ray analysis.
• Operation of gate valve S43 is:
  - Manual: - hand wheel for sizes from DN50 to DN100, and these above DN100 to DN300 are with manual gearbox. 
  - Electromechanical:  - with electric actuator according to working conditions requirements and these of the customer.
• The tests of gate valve S43 are carried out in accordance with EN12266-1,2 or according to the working conditions and customer’s requirements.
• The gate valves S43   can be installed in any position, and for sizes larger than DN200 it is recommended to install them in a horizontal position. When installing a gate valve equipped with an electric actuator, the manufacturer's installation requirements for the electric actuator must be observed. 

- Additional accessories:

• Bypass connections with globe valve V46.2 
• Relief valve on the body, releasing the pressure above the zone of the wedge. 

• Gate valve S43 has pressure seal design.
• Monolythic stem (spindle) and wedge - strength, stability and wear resistance. 
• The stem nut has two bearings, dust collectors and high-temperature grease guaranteeing a long-term cycle of operation.
• Long service life compared to the bolted bonnet models. 
• Gate valve S43 is a full-bore valve, ensuring the free flow of the fluid flow.
