Globe valves V46.2, V40.2
High pressure glove valves, V46.2-shut-off, V40.2-regulating, pressure seal bonnet, sizes from DN10 to DN65, pressure up to PN400, working temperature up to 650°C, according to the requirements of European Directive 2014/68/EU for pressure equipment.
Application
- Working medium: water, water steam (overheated steam) and other non agressive liquids and gasses.
- Application: classical and nuclear energy; chemical industry.
- Seismic Resistance: I-st class, according to IEC 980, IEEE 382, EN 60068-2-6.
- Class of safety: 3-rd , according to NP-068-05, NP-001-15.

Technical description
- The globe valves V46.2 and V40.2 are constructed with a monolithic body, inside which is located a sleeve-back seat made of stainless steel.
- The body is made of forging and the bonnet of precision casting.
- The body seats and the stem (disc) are welded with wear-resistant hard alloy material.
- The stem is made of special high temperature resistant steel.
- The connection of the globe valves is according to EN, DIN, ANSI (ASME), GOST implemented by:
- butt weld type BW;
- welding type SW;
- with flanged ends;
- with threaded ends. - The control of the welded joints is performed by ultrasonic or X-ray analysis.
- The operation of the globe valves V46.2 и V40.2 is:
- Manual: - with handwheel.
- Electromechanical: - with electric actuator or pneumatic actuator according to the requirements of the working conditions and these of the client. - The tests of the globe valves are carried out in accordance with EN12266-1,2 or according to the working conditions and customer’s requirements.
- The globe valves V46.2 can be installed in any position, the installation of the control valves V40.2 must comply with the marking (arrow) indicating the direction of the fluid (working medium).
- When installing a globe valve equipped with an electric actuator, the manufacturer's installation requirements for the electric drive must be observed.
- The globe valves have pressure seal design.
- Repairable shape of body seat, without dismounting from the pipeline.
- Monolythic stem (spindle), stability and wear resistance.
- The stem nut has two bearings, dust collectors and high-temperature grease guaranteeing the long-term operation cycle without maintenance.
- Long service life compared to the bolted bonnet models.
- Unified design provifing the possibility of less costs for spare parts by combining four sizes of forgings into eight nominal valve sizes, providing shortened delivery times at competitive prices.
- Production of ends connections according to the customer’s request.
- Possibility for production with non-standard construction lengths by means of extensions and inspection of the welding seams with X-ray analysis.
- Permanent stock availability of spare parts.
